Boba Tea Directions: Boil 6 cups water and add 1 cup pearls, stir and cover. Cook 45 minutes, turn off heat and let sit covered for 30 minutes. Rinse pearls with warm water for about 3 minutes and drain. Cover with brown sugar or honey if desired. For Boba Tea, add a few spoonfuls of pearls to glass, then a few ice cubes, then 1 cup of your favorite tea, 1 Tbsp sweetener, and 1/4 cup milk or substitute.
Pudding Recipe: Soak 1/2 cup tapioca in 1 1⁄2 cups water overnight, then drain. Mix 1 Qt. milk and 3/4 cup sugar, bring to a boil. Add tapioca and stir, cooking until tapioca is clear (about 30 minutes). Mix together 3 beaten eggs, 3/4 cup sugar and 3/4 tsp vanilla extract, add to pearls and bring to a boil. Makes about 2 quarts.
