How to Use

Chicken Soup base is our version of a chicken bouillon (it is vegan) so you can use it like you would a bouillon.  How much you use will be dependent on what you are using it in, how big the recipe is and your taste preference. In our home we always use homemade bone broth or chicken stock.  If you are using water instead of bone broth, you may want to use more as you will not have the flavors coming from the homemade broth.

So use it “to taste”.

If I were using this in chicken and dumplings or chicken noodle soup I would start with 1-2 tablespoons as you add your chicken stock to your recipe, bring to a boil/simmer and taste it. If it needs more add more until you like the level of seasoning.

This seasoning is great in chicken dishes but work so well in many other dishes where you need depth of flavor.  It has nutritional yeast so it gives it a bit of a buttery flavor. Which makes it good with potatoes, rice, noodles or any comfort food dish.

This Chicken soup base natural seasoning was fantastic in my first attempt at making Amber's chicken and dumplings. Perfect for a cold winter night!
