Ingredients
-
oil or butter for skillet
-
8 oz. sausage, sliced
-
1 lb. wild-caught shrimp, peeled & deveined
-
3 c. broccoli florets
-
2 Tbsp. olive/avocado oil
-
3 Tbsp. raw honey
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
-
1 Tbsp. Rosebud’s Chipotle
-
bell pepper, your choice of color
-
1 small onion, roughly chopped
-
Baja Gold Sea Salt, to taste
-
black pepper, to taste
-
2 green onions, chopped (optional)
Directions
Saute the sausage in the skillet with some avocado oil.
Heat some oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sausage and cook until it’s browned and slightly crispy. Remove the sausage from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the broccoli and sauté for about 5 mins. Then add in your bell pepper and onion and sauté until the onions are translucent and you can stick a fork in the peppers. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
While the vegetables are cooking, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and Rosebud’s Chipotle seasoning. Set aside for later.
Add shrimp to the same skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
Next, add in the sausage and veggie mixture back into the skillet and pour over the sauce mixture. Mix and combine well. Let simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions if desired. Serve on a bed of rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice and enjoy!
