Ingredients
-
drizzle of olive/avocado oil
-
4 chicken breasts, boneless & skinless
-
salt & pepper, to taste
-
1 onion, diced
-
5-7 large potatoes, cubed
-
4-5 large carrots, sliced into sticks
-
2-3 Tbsp. Rosebud’s Buttermilk Ranch
-
green onions for garnish, optional
For the Cream of ‘Chicken’ Soup
-
1/4 c. butter
-
1/4 c. flour
-
2 Tbsp. Rosebud’s Soup Base
-
4 c. half & half (or milk)
Directions
For the Cream of ‘Chicken’ Soup
In a medium pot on medium-low heat, melt your butter. Once completely melted, add in your flour and mix until combined.
Pour in half of your half and half (or milk) and whisk. Add Rosebud’s Soup Base seasoning and mix.
Pour in the rest of the half and half (or milk) and simmer until it has thickened.
For the Crockpot Meal
Drizzle the bottom of the crockpot dish. Place your chicken breasts inside and season with salt and pepper.
Top with the diced onion, sliced carrots, cubed potatoes, cream of ‘chicken’ soup, and Rosebud’s Buttermilk Ranch seasoning.
Give it a little stir and put on the lid. Cook on high for 4 hours (or low for 6 hours).
After the 4-6 hours have passed, take a pair of tongs and remove the chicken to shred (it may shred easily in the crockpot as well). Dish and serve with green onions as a garnish, if desired.
